Ok, this is really really easy. There’s absolutely no programming or data science skills required. Not even any math. It’s easier than flushing a toilet. Receptiviti can analyze and cluster datasets – including social media audiences, customers, panels, employees and more – just select a Twitter handle and click a button – and it only takes a few seconds. Ready? Here’s how:

If you haven’t done so already, get yourself a Receptiviti account (it’s free) 

Step 1: Select Analyze–>Twitter from the menu and enter a Twitter handle in the text box.

Step 2: Select the kind of Twitter analysis you want Receptiviti to do. You’ve got three choices:

1) Analyze an individual Twitter handle

2) Analyze a handle’s followers

Or, 3) Analyze the people who #mention something – anything with a #hashtag

Step 3: Click Submit.

It takes a little while to analyze an audience, so go grab a coffee and Receptiviti will email you as soon as your cluster analysis is complete. That’s it! Easy huh?

Here’s an example cluster analysis of @Silvercar‘s Twitter followers. Silvercar’s followers are clustered into two distinct groups – and each cluster has its own unique psychological characteristics:
